The Coquihalla Highway south of Merritt will be down to one lane for a few more days following a semi-truck fire that broke out Friday afternoon (July 3).
Drive BC said drivers can expect some delays along a stretch of Highway 5 between the Larson Hill and and Coldwater Road exits until at least Tuesday (July 7).
According to Drive BC, the fire was intense enough to cause damage to the pavement.
It’s not clear what caused the vehicle to catch fire, which had the highway closed for several hours on Friday.
RCMP have yet to confirm if there were any injuries in the blaze.
