GoFundMe Page set up for young Merritt couple

A GoFundMe Page has been set up to help a Merritt couple,  in need  of the communities help.

Jake Courtepatte and Kassidy Rian’s life turned upside down, when at just 22 weeks, Kassidy experienced complications with her pregnancy, and after urgent testing in Vancouver, where she has been advised she must remain in Vancouver under medial supervision for the remainder of her pregnancy.

The couple are currently staying at Ronald McDonald House.

Jake has been able to work remotely and be with Kassidy, however Kassidy is now on medical leave.

The goal for the couple has been set at $4,500 and as of May 19 sits at $1701.
