Indoor Community Yard Sale set for Saturday at the Merritt Civic Centre

The old adage “one man’s junk, is another man’s treasure” will be prevalent this weekend as the Merritt Recreation Department hosts it’s annual Community Yard Sale on Saturday at the Merritt Civic Centre.

Janet Allsopp,  the city’s recreation programmer it’s a perfect opportunity to get rid of unwanted items in your home and earn some extra cash.

“Anyone doing spring cleaning or downsizing their home can turn those unwanted items into cash,” Allsopp said. “With spring now officially here, it’s time to get rid of the extra clutter around your home.”

Tables are limited but still available for $5.00 each with a maximum of three tables per participant.

The Community Yard Sale will be tomorrow, Saturday March 21 from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Merritt Civic Centre.
