A huge turnout visited the Merritt Civic Centre this past weekend for the 2026 Spring Home Show.
The two day event ran Saturday and Sunday and saw exhibitors from the local area and from across the province converge in Merritt displaying their wares and services.
The 2026 Spring Home Show was organized by BC HomeShows In. who have produced more than 220 home shows across the region since 1999.
BC Home Show’s John Manderson said they were happy with the turnout to the home show this weekend which featured displays from contractors, local artisans, and services.

“We were happy with the number of visitors to the Home Show,” said Manderson. “It was a good steady crowd throughout Saturday and it’s great to see.
Exhibitor Amy Chadwick of Renewal by Anderson Kelowna, said Home Shows are great for both visitors and exhibitors alike.
“Visitors come to shows like this to see what’s new and exciting on the market, whether it be doors and window such as we (Renewal by Anderson) have, outdoor equipment, and such,” said Chadwick. ” We as exhibitors get to me meet new clientele and chat with them about their needs and what they are looking for.”
Plans are in the works for a fall home show however no date has been confirmed.
