Merritt U15’s win District Banner at NVMA

For the second straight week, the Merritt U15 Centennials have captured a championship banner.

The U15’s went undefeated again this weekend and were crowned Omaha District Recreation Champions after a 6-2 win over Lillooet Sunday at the Nicola Valley Memorial Arena.

The U15’s got to the championship game by beating Kelowna in the semi-finals.

Last week, the U15 Cents brought home the Thompson Caribou Super League Banner in a tournament played in Lillooet.

This week’s tourney was played between the Shulus Arena and the NVMA.
