RCMP looking for help in connection to break-in at Lemonade Stand

Merritt RCMP are looking for the public’s help in finding the culprits who broke into a Merritt business overnight on January 28.

Shortly after 3:00 a.m., two people entered The Lemonade Stand on Quilchena Avenue and began looting the store. The two brought plastic totes into the business to help with the theft.

Video surveillance showed one suspect wearing a grey Helly Hansen sweatshirt, with a black or brown ski mask, black pants, and black sneakers, while the other, who appears to be female, was wearing a dark winter jacket and ski mask with a black ball cap, black pants, and brown boots.

In all, the break-in took less than two minutes. The two are believed to have escaped via a vehicle parked outside of the business, which was seen fleeing after the robbery.
