Council and Community Cafe tonight

Merritt area residents will once again have an opportunity to discuss matters that affect them at the Council and Community Cafe this evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

The “community café” gatherings began last fall as members of council and staff wanted a relaxed atmosphere for residents to talk to city officials and according to one city staffer have been well attended.

There will be refreshments available and children’s activities provided so parents can connect in-person with local officials to discuss matters that are of concern in the community.

Again the Council and Community Cafe will be held tonight from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Merritt Civic Centre.
