Power outage in Lower Nicola, Nooaitch

More than 12-hundred customers are without power this afternoon after a tree fell across power lines this morning in the Shulus, Nooaitch area.

BC Hydro workers remain at the scene of the incident which occurred at approximately 8:52 this morning.

Schools and offices in Lower Nicola were closed for the day.

BC Hydro expects the power to be on this afternoon..
