Santa Parade tonight in Lower Nicola

Santa Claus makes his return to Lower Nicola this evening as the community celebrates the festive season with it’s annual Santa Claus Parade sponsored by the Lower Nicola Indian Band.

The parade begins this evening at 5 p.m. from Rocky Pines and will move down Aberdeen Road then proceed through Lower Nicola and then on to Shulus from where the parade will disperse at the school.

Organizer Christie Hill of the LNIB advises you to dress warmly this evening as the parade goes by your home.

Meanwhile the LNIB elders are reminded of the Lower Nicola Elders Christmas Party on Tuesday December 17 from noon until two p.m. The event will be held at the Shulus Band Hall and feature laughter, stories, door prizes, a traditional turkey meal and a visit from Santa.
