BREAKING: Emergency room closure at Merritt Hospital until 8 a.m. Saturday morning

Merritt and area residents are advised that  emergency services at the Nicola Valley Hospital will not be available from 7 a.m. this morning until 8 a.m. on Saturday morning.

This marks the 15th emergency room closure for the Nicola Valley Hospital this calendar year, after 19 emergency room closures in 2023.

Patients can access care at Royal Inland Hospital at 311 Columbia St, Kamloops.
