Emergency room services will now be available at Nicola Valley Memorial Hospital

Interior Health has announced that they were able to locate nursing staff to cover the emergency room at the Nicola Valley Hospital in Merritt, so that means the temporary closure has been quashed.

Shortly after 4 p.m., Interior Health announce that there would be an emergency room closure this evening until Saturday morning.

Again, the emergency room closure at Nicola Valley Hospital in Merritt has been rescinded by Interior Health after nursing staff was located to work this evening.
