Paving Shuts Downs Voght St til Wednesday

Motorists in the city can expect a few changes to their commute if  travelling via Voght St. over the next few days.

The road will be closed to thru-traffic until Wednesday, May 29, at 7 p.m. as the first stage paving between Blackwell Ave. and Walters St.

Traffic will be detoured at Walters across the bench, to Nicola Ave. RCMP remind drivers that the speed limit within a construction zone in the city is 30 km/hr.

Speed signs will also be posted.  Barricades will also be set up on Voght St. at 1st Ave. to detour traffic to Nicola Avenue and Juniper Drive.
