Suspect of Bob’s Mini Mart Robbery Arrested

Merritt RCMP have taken a man into custody in connection with the armed robbery that occurred on Friday afternoon at a local business.

Sgt. Brock Hedrick of the Merritt detachment confirmed to Q101 that the male was arrested without incident in downtown Merritt this morning.

RCMP will be recommending that the BC Prosecution Services pursue charges in connection with the robbery at Bob’s Mini Mart on Clapperton Ave on Friday.

No names have been released and we’ll have further details as they become available.
