Man succumbs to injuries after accident on the mountains at Sun Peaks

SUN PEAKS, B.C. — One man is dead after an accident on the mountains at Sun Peaks Thursday (March 21).

In a brief news release, Sun Peaks Resort says its ski patrol responded to the incident to find an injured adult man. The resort says he has since succumbed to his injuries.

“We are deeply saddened by the loss of life of our guest and our thoughts are with their family and friends,” Sun Peaks Resort states.

The resort adds it’s cooperating with the RCMP’s investigation, and it will not release further information. The case is with the B.C. Coroner’s Service.
