Lack of snow still limiting runs at Sun Peaks as they prepare to expand offering this weekend

With snow machines running overtime, the resort is expanding it’s service this weekend, but is still hurting from a lack of snow from mother nature.

“I’ve took a few laps on the hill today and wow, the trail conditions, albeit early season, are amazing,” said Director of Marketing Aaron MacDonald. “Great cruisers, and a good opportunity to get those skiing/riding muscles ready for what’s set to be a great season”

In addition to the runs which opened last weekend, the lower terrain park will be making it’s debut with some rails, boxes and other features.

The Nordic trail network will remain closed until mother nature cooperates.
