Merritt Centennials host autograph signing session after Saturday’s game
Lindblad, Spinale and Kim signing autographs.
MERRITT — Captain Aiden Lindblad, Timothy Kim, and Assistant Captain Ryan Spinale all stuck around after Saturday’s tough 6-4 loss to the West Kelowna Warriors. Despite arriving at 5 a.m the night prior from Trail, the players all stayed after the game to do signings.
The signings were quite popular, with some players running out of paper by the time things wrapped up.
The boys will get a much needed two day break after Saturday’s game.
The Centennials had just played their 5th game in 9 days, they won the first three then ran out of steam dropping the final two games.
Merritt will head to Langley next Friday to play the 3-6-0-0 Rivermen, it will be Nathan Taylor’s return to his home town. The boys will arrive home, get some rest then head over to Penticton Saturday night.
Merritt is 4-5-0-0 on the season and will head to Seattle for the BCHL Showcase after their two game road swing.
