Lowis moves from City of Merritt to TNRD

KAMLOOPS — The Thompson-Nicola Regional District (TNRD) has announced the hiring of Greg Lowis as its General Manager of Corporate and Legislative Services.
Lowis has spent nearly 15 years working in local government, most recently in various administrative roles with the City of Merritt. He replaces Deanna Campbell, who was recently hired as the CAO for the Sun Peaks Mountain Resort Municipality.
Lowis will manage three departments in his division, perform the statutory duties of the Corporate Officer, facilitate legislative processes, and provide procedural guidance and advice to the Board of Directors and staff.
When he begins his new role in late September, he’ll report to the TNRD Chief Administrative Officer Scott Hildebrand.
