RCMP remain on scene on the corner of Quilchena Avenue and Orme Street.
All of Quilchena Avenue and Coutlee Avenue has been reopened to residents.
MERRITT – Merritt RCMP and additional tactical units are on scene at an incident causing road closures.
Officers have a section of Quilchena Avenue, from May Street to Houston Street, blocked off. They also advise residents to avoid the same stretch, between May Street to Houston Street, off Coutlee Avenue.
