Christmas light tour returns to Merritt

MERRITT -The Christmas light tour is returning to Merritt after a couple of years off.

“We will just go around and find lights where we can, there’s not a scheduled area, we will just go where we think we will find lights,” said one of the bus drivers for the tour, Wayne.

The tour runs December 16,17, and 19, with a special private tour for the seniors at Nicola Meadows on the 18.

“The small kids can sit on grandmas lap and look out the window and we will stop and look at all the lights,” said Wayne.

It costs $5 pre-paid to City Hall for the hour and a half bus tour. All proceeds will go towards the Nicola Valley Food Bank.
