Investigations continue into the shootings of last week

MERRITT – Merritt RCMP continue investigating a string of shootings from last week as they had the 2100 block of Quilchena blocked off for several hours.

“We are still investigating what has been going on this past week and this was just apart of that,” said Sgt Josh Roda.

There were multiple gunshots early Tuesday morning (November 15), another case of shots fired on Friday (November 18), a gunshot and a kidnapping take place later on Friday as well, and then a couple more incidents over the weekend.
