Environment Canada issues snowfall warnings for Coquihalla, Okanagan Connector

MERRITT — As we await a severe weather system expected to move in today (November 3), Environment Canada has issued snowfall warnings for a large portion of the B.C. Interior.Snowfall with poor visibility is expected to begin around the noon hour, lasting through to Friday morning.

The warning has been put in place for the Coquihalla Highway from Merritt to Hope, the Okanagan Connector, as well as the Allison Pass.

The atmospheric river system is expected to bring snowfall amounts of 15 to 20 centimetres on those higher elevation routes.
