MERRITT – In order to help encourage residents to head to the polls on Saturday, BC Transit and the City of Merritt are offering free bus rides for the day.
Between 8:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. on Saturday October 15, residents can head to the Civic Centre to cast their vote in the municipal election.
There is one seat for mayor, six councilor seats, and three school board trustee positions available.
