Clean Up At Pine Ridge Cemetery Begins

The City of Merritt is reminding residents of the yearly cleanup scheduled for this week at the Pine Ridge Cemetery.

Anyone who has flowers or other memorabilia at the grave of a loved one is asked to collect the items before the cleanup begins today.

After today, crew members will pick up remaining items and store them outside the cemetery shed for pickup.

Over the course of the next week or so,  city crews will be maintaining the turf, irrigating, leveling headstones and cleaning the site.
