After two years of cancellations, Rockin’ River to announce lineup Tuesday
It’s been two years since Rockin’ River was last able to take to the stage in the Nicola Valley. One of the marquee summer events in Merritt was forced to cancel shows in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and restrictions on events which have now been rescinded.
With the all clear given by Dr. Bonnie Henry, Rockin’ River is set to announce their lineup for the 2022 show today (Tuesday, March 15). The 2020 show was set to be headlined by Keith Urban with Jon Pardi, Chris Janson, Travis Tritt, Randy Houser and more on the four day card.
The lineup for 2021 was constructed by Kenny Hess, who at the time confirmed Urban would not be able to return for that year’s show but he hoped to bring him back in the future. The full lineup was never released as the event was cancelled.
This years festival will take place from July 28-31.
