B.C. reports 1,785 new cases of COVID-19

VICTORIA – The Ministry of Health is reporting 1,785 new cases of COVID-19 Tuesday.

The numbers released today are considered to be preliminary figures.

269 new cases were reported within the Interior Health region.

The provincial government says it will return to regular reporting of COVID-19 cases, vaccinations, hospitalizations and deaths, along with hospitalizations by vaccination status on Wednesday.

Health Minister Adrian Dix and Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry are scheduled to speak at an afternoon news conference.
