Full complement of snow clearing crews out

Merritt City Officials confirm that despite the challenges currently facing City Works Crews as they repair damage from the floods, the roads will be cleared of snow as per usual.

“We have a full complement of crews out doing snow clearing as we speak,” said Director of Corporate Services Greg Lowis. “Ordinary operations for snow clearing today.”

The City had been warning residents of reduced snow clearing capabilities during the return to Merritt plan.

Business owners are reminded they are still responsible for clearing the sidewalk in front of their shops.
