Emergency department in Merritt to return to 24/7 care

Interior Health continues to gradually resume regular operations at the Nicola Valley Hospital.

Effective Friday, Dec. 3, at 7:30 a.m., the Nicola Valley Hospital emergency department will resume 24/7 emergency care.

On Monday, the hospital began operating under reduced hours, but will now return to full-time care.

“We would like to remind the public that following flooding events there continues to be health hazards,” reads the release.
