Centennials to play this weekend in Penticton

The BCHL has announced another slate of schedule changes due to the flooding situation, and highway closures across BC.

Merritt was originally set to play a pair of home games this weekend, Friday versus Nanaimo and Saturday against Powell River. Both those games have been postponed.

Instead, the Cents will travel to Penticton to take on the Vees at the South Okanagan Events Centre on Friday, November 26. No other weekend games are scheduled for Merritt this week. Puck drop was not confirmed.

It’s still unclear when the Cents will be able to return to the Nicola Valley Memorial Arena.
