Highway 3 closed again following another washout: DriveBC

KAMLOOPS — A new washout between Exit 173 and Frontage Road has closed Highway 3 between Hope and Princeton in both directions.

DriveBC says an assessment is in progress and there’s no estimated time of re-opening. Highway 3 previously re-opened for essential travel only on Friday (Nov. 19).

As of publication, only Highway 99 is open for essential travel between Kamloops and the Lower Mainland.

An update on Highway 3 is is expected Monday (Nov. 22) at 4 p.m.
