TNRD issues evacuation orders and declare local state of emergency
The Thompson Nicola Regional District have declared a local state of emergency for electoral area ‘N’, Nicola Valley South.
An Evacuation Order has been issued by Chair Ken Gillis from the Thompson-Nicola Regional District at the Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) in Kamloops.
A flooding event located in Area “N” (Beautiful Nicola Valley -South) is threatening structures and the safety of residents in the area.
Because of the potential danger to life and safety, the Thompson-Nicola Regional District has ordered everyone to evacuate the following 2 addressed properties as identified on the attached map:
• 3120 Coldwater Road; and
• 973 Neilson Street.
If you are in the described area, you must leave immediately. To access Emergency Support Services please report to the Kamloops ESS Reception Centre: McArthur Island Sport Centre, 1655 Island Parkway.

• 852 to 1016 Roundhouse Dr.
