RCMP seeking footage from morning crash on Coquihalla

The Merritt RCMP are seeking dashcam footage, and witnesses from this morning’s vehicle crash along the Coquihalla, near Larson Hill.

“Shortly before 11:00 am, Merritt RCMP responded to Larson Hill for a collision involving a semi-truck with trailer and four passenger vehicles. When officers arrived four of the five vehicles involved where on fire. An officer and Ministry of Transport Employees were able to pull a vehicle out of harms way while the driver was trapped inside, saving his life from the impending fire,” wrote Sgt. Josh Roda, Merritt RCMP.

Two occupants involved in the crash remain in critical condition as last reported.

Merritt RCMP is seeking dashcam footage from any vehicle in the area that may have captured the collision or events leading up to the crash.
