Merritt Bench added to COVID-19 exposure list

The Interior Health Authority has added a second Merritt school to the potential COVID-19 exposure list.

A COVID-19 exposure is stated to have occurred at Merritt Bench Elementary School between September 22-24.

Anybody who needs to self-isolate or get tested as a result of the case will be contacted directly by the Health Authority.

It’s the second confirmed exposure event in School District 58 this school year after Diamond Vale was place on the list last week.
