After making a summer charge up the rankings, Merritt’s Roger Sloan secured his tour card with a T-2 finish at the Wyndham Championship just over a month ago. That event saw Sloan compete in a rare six-man playoff, eventually losing out to Kevin Kisner on the second sudden-death hole.
The following week at the Northern Trust, Sloan would fail to make the cut bringing is remarkable season to a close.
Now after less than a month off, Sloan is set to tee off today at the Fortinet Championship to begin a new season on Tour.
Sloan is one of seven Canadians taking part in the event this weekend, and will tee off at 1:16 this afternoon.
