More properties downgraded to Evacuation Alert near July Mountain

An Evacuation Order has been partially downgraded to an Evacuation Alert by the Thompson-Nicola Regional District Emergency Operations Centre (EOC).

The following 24 addressed properties outlined in orange have been downgraded but remain on alert:

• 5644 to 5868 Juliet Dr;

Because of the potential danger to life and safety, an evacuation order remains in place for the following 1 addressed property:

• 5340 Coldwater Rd;

The July Mountain blaze is estimated at 19,080 hectares by the BC Wildfire Service. The fire complex has 123 firefighters, six helicopters and 22 pieces of heavy equipment on site.
