Two Merritt men charged with multiple drug offences

In December 2020, the Merritt RCMP executed a search warrant at a suspected drug house on Granite Avenue.

“The search yielded a significant amount of a drugs and a handgun,” said Sgt. Josh Roda.

Last week, charges were approved against two men related to the raid.

“Mr. Braeden Shane Drake for 4-counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and 1 count of commit offence with a firearm. Mr. Ernest Frank Loos was also charged with 3-counts of possession of a controlled substance in relation to the same incident,” stated Roda.
