KAMLOOPS — COVID-19 case counts are creeping up again in B.C. — and the epicentre of spread is in Interior Health.
The Monday (July 26) totals from the B.C. Ministry of Health show 267 new cases over the past three days — including 155 within Interior Health during that time. That represents 58 per cent of all new cases in B.C.
There are 695 active cases in the province, including 43 patients in hospital.
One more person has died of the virus — a resident of Northern Health.
The health ministry says 80.6 per cent of eligible British Columbians have received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine. The second dose proportion of eligible residents is now 61.3 per cent.
