Merritt Man charged for Assault

A Merritt man has been charged with assault stemming from an incident in town earlier this month.

“On Monday, July 5, 2021, Mr. Bradley McIsaac-Holmes was charged with 1 count of Assault for a targeted incident occurring on Sunday, July 4, 2021 in Merritt,” said Sgt. Josh Roda.

McIsaac-Holmes was scheduled to appear in court earlier this week.

Merritt Woman charged for Theft Under $5,000

Surveillance video has helped Merritt RCMP apprehend a theft suspect.

“On Sunday, April 4, 2021, the Merritt RCMP responded to a vehicle break in at the Ranch Lands Villa Motel in Merritt. The incident was caught on video surveillance and a suspect was identified and later arrested by police,” said Sgt. Roda. “On Monday, July 5, 2021, Ms. Ramona Janet Michel was charged with Theft Under $5000.”

She was scheduled to appear before the Merritt courts earlier this week.
