The BC Wildfire Service is reporting that a small fire to the West of Merritt towards Spences Bridge is now ‘under control’.
The fire near the Gordon Creek FSR was able to grow to 1.5 hectares before crews could contain it.
The cause of the fire is still listed as unknown at this time.
