One new COVID-19 case in Merritt

The BC Centre for Disease Control has released the latest weekly health area COVID-19 data, covering the period of June 27 – July 3, reporting one new case of the virus in the Merritt area.
Prior to this week, the area had recorded back to back weeks with zero cases.
Despite the single case, the Merritt local health area has now recorded single digit, or zero case increases for 13 weeks in a row.
The Kamloops area recorded 11 new cases, Kelowna registered 47.
