One man was killed and another injured in a rollover crash near Merritt Saturday (June 19).

Unlike in 2018 when this motion was presented to Merritt City Council, Councillor Travis Fehr’s motion to have staff investigate an appropriate land acknowledgement has been passed unanimously.

Merritt Centennials propose expanding liquor service at NVMA
Currently, the Cents only offer liquor service in a small beer garden located in the corner of the rink. All other BCHL teams have open liquor seating and that is what the organization is hoping to start this season.
