Kelowna man convicted for multiple offenses in Merritt

A Kelowna resident has been convicted of multiple property crime offences in the Merritt area stemming from 2020.
“Mr. Michael Dennison was convicted of one count of possession of property obtained by crime over $10,000, two counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $10,000, and driving while prohibited,” wrote Sgt. Josh Roda.
The charges relate to an incident that occurred in Merritt on July 17, 2020.
“Mr. Dennison was arrested driving in a truck that had been stolen, in possession of several other stolen items and found to be prohibited from driving at the time,” added Roda.
Dennison received 471 days in jail and probation for 12 months.
