Merritt records two new cases of COVID-19

The BC Centre for Disease Control has released the latest local health area COVID-19 data for the week of May 9-15, reporting two new cases in the Merritt area.
The local health area has now seen six consecutive weeks of single digit increases, including last week where there was just one new case.
The Kamloops area saw 32 new cases last week, down one case from the 33 the week prior.
- Cariboo/Chilcotin – 5 (up by 3 from last week)
- North Thompson – 1 (up by 1)
- 100 Mile House – 4 (up by 3)
- South Cariboo – 0 (unchanged)
- Lillooet – 0 (down by 2)
- Vernon – 19 (down by 3)
- Armstrong-Spallumcheen – 3 (down by 1)
- Enderby – 0 (down by 2)
- Salmon Arm — 4 (down by 5)
- Revelstoke – 0 (down by 1)
- Central Okanagan-Kelowna — 185 (up by 23)
