Music in the park is returning this Summer to Merritt.
As vaccine rollout continues, the City is hoping to bring some normalcy back with bands set to take the stage at Rotary Park every Thursday throughout the Summer months.
However, due to uncertainty around public gatherings currently, City Hall is asking that anybody wishing to attend the performances calls in advance to book a spot, allowing for proper social distancing.
The free music starts on June 24 with Jackson Hollow and ends on September 2 with Amanda Lamothe Native Entertainment.
Canada Day, which does fall on a Thursday this year, has been left TBA and will depend on COVID-19 restrictions and protocols at that time.
