While the COVID-19 outbreak at the Florentine in Merritt hasn’t been declared over yet, more good news was released on Monday.
The Interior Health Authority confirmed that the case count at the assisted living facility again remained steady. Two residents have tested positive.
A post from the Florentine on March 6, stated that another negative test had come back from the facility.
Until the outbreak is declared over by Interior Health the building remains on lock down with no outside visitors permitted.
All cases must be resolved for the health authority to declare the outbreak over.
