Nicola Valley Farmers Market wins provincial award

The BC Association of Farmers’ Markets celebrated the best of B.C. with its eighth annual BC Farmers’ Market Awards.

Awards were given out in various categories including the BC’s farmers market of the year, separated out into large, medium, and small markets.

Awarded the small farmers market of the year was the Nicola Valley Farmers Market.

The market gathers on weekends in the parking lot by the Baillie House in Merritt.

The local market received their award during a virtual award ceremony held in February.
