Florentine outbreak remains stable

For over a week the COVID-19 outbreak at the Florentine in Merritt has remained stable.

The Interior Health Authority reported Monday that the case count at the facility is still two. Both cases are stated to be seniors, not staff.

The outbreak was originally declared on February 18 and grew to two positive cases the following weekend.

For the outbreak to be declared over, all cases will need to be resolved.
