The Coldwater Hotel has confirmed a positive case of COVID-19 among the staff at the establishment.
In a post to Facebook on Sunday, the Hotel confirmed that one employee that works in the restaurant had received a positive test for COVID-19.
“As one of our staff was tested positive for COVID-19, we temporarily closed the restaurant this morning. Half hour ago, we called the government 811 and they said that we do not need to close the business and can operate normally,” reads the post.
The confirmed case follows a number of local cases within the school system, a case at a local grocery store, and eight confirmed cases within the Upper Nicola Band.
