Royal Inland Hospital COVID-19 outbreak grows to 71 cases

KAMLOOPS — Another five cases of COVID-19 have been connected to the outbreak at Royal Inland Hospital.
According to Interior Health (IH), the outbreak has grown Thursday (Jan. 28) to include 46 staff and 25 patients, for a total of 71 cases. One death is connected to the outbreak.
IH says the outbreak remains contained to 6 South.
Wednesday, Interior Health announced all new admissions to the hospital would be swabbed for COVID-19.
