Easter Eggstravaganza returns to Merritt

The City of Merritt will once again be welcoming the Easter Bunny to the Nicola Valley on Saturday for the annual Easter Eggstravaganza celebration.

This year’s event will be held at Central Park beginning Saturday at 10:00 a.m. for a morning of fun and treats.

Those with youngsters :

• Aged 4 years and under will be on Field One
• Aged 5-8 year will be on Field Two
• Aged 9 plus will gather on Field Three

Children unable to collect eggs can visit the City of Merritt trailer to receive their chocolates.

Those participating are encouraged to bring their own Easter basket and be at the designated field at 10:15 a.m.

Not only will children get a chance to get an Easter egg or two, they will also have an opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny and enjoy the bouncy castle, magic show and a balloon artist.

All events on Saturday are free of charge.
