RCMP nap drugs, cash, and firearms following exectution of warrant

Multiple arrests were made and a quality of suspected drugs, cash, firearms and items consistent with drug trafficking were complicated following the execution of a search warrant in Merritt on Friday.
As part of an ongoing investigation Merritt RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence in the 2600 block of Nicola Avenue.
Officials say that to ensure public and officer safety, the Southeast District Emergency Response Team (SED ERT) assisted Merritt officers in executing the search warrant.
“All of the officers involved demonstrated strong teamwork and professionalism during this investigation,” said S/Sgt. Josh Roda, Merritt RCMP detachment commander. “Removing illicit drugs and weapons from our community remains a priority for this detachment, as these items pose a significant risk to public safety.”
All individuals were later released without charge pending further investigation however the investigation remains ongoing.
